A serious session of mini burgers at Little Tavern yesterday. Always good to chill down the hill with Howard St legend Scottie B... Dont know if yall know but I grew with Scottie buying those classics like Perculator and other gems when they actually came out the first time! ha! Plus special old time Sports Bar comrad Danny of Patterson Theater fame made a suprise appearence for the photo op! Danny's new record out soon on Milkcrate....

Scottie B credits longtime friend and DJ Aaron LaCrate, a Baltimore native and New York transplant, for initially opening his eyes to the possibilities for the music’s expansion.
“He talked to me for three or four hours, and I started to see what was going on,” Scottie says. “I didn’t have any idea. We knew they were into it in Philly, in the black crowds, but we didn’t know anything about any white crowds anywhere.”
Twas a huge night down in B-more.. I was honored to share the tables with the legends of the game Rod Lee, who needs no introduction.. Debonair Samir my partner and an amazing dude! Super Samir and Mike Mumblez totally killed it on the set.. Look for more of this fun stuff... People were rocking all night!!
